GREEN KALE AND PINEAPPLE TROPICAL POPSICLE

The weather is heating up! I’m really loving this fun frozen pop recipe – it’s is full of power produce and yet tastes sweet. The recipe name is really fun to say, no? Plus the color is a great green color that reminds me of watching people get Slimed on┬áNickelodeon. While you won’t get gooey green stuff stuck in your hair, you WILL really enjoy these summer treats. No cheating required! (these babies are raw, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and paleo)

kale, popsicle, vegan recipe

RECIPE
Makes about 8 pops depending on your popsicle tray size
1 Cup of Kale
1 Cup of Spinach
1 1/2 Cup of pineapple

2 Kiwis
1/4 Avocado
1 Lemon (squeezed for the juice)
1/2 Cup of water

Simple steps: Place all ingredients in blender little by little. It helps to add the liquids in to keep the solids from getting stuck. Pour the liquid into popsicle trays. Freeze overnight.
Optional: If you want the kiwis to show like I have them in the photo, save 1/2 kiwi and slice it up. Place the slices into the popsicle trays before pouring the liquid in.
.
ENJOY!
