AKA: “The Zombie Dance”
Are you tired, hung-over or late for work and need to get your daily dose of veggies and protein? This smoothie packs a powerful punch of delicious and nutritious ingredients! Warning, this isn’t your typical SWEET smoothie. While it still tastes great (I made sure of that), it’s more like a veggie smoothie than a sweet fruit smoothie. The taste is like a earthy, orange mango with a background of greens. With a bundle of veggies and 6 grams of protein per serving, this smoothie is great for a “fresh start” detox and an energy boost to wake all you zombies out there! (don’t forget to drink lots of water – the BEST natural detox and energy booster!)
While we all know that spinach does a body good (Vitamins K, A, C, B2, B6, E, B1, manganese, folate, magnesium, iron, calcium, potassium… oh gosh, the list goes on!), what the heck is with this gelatin stuff? (Sorry vegetarians, this isn’t for you… but feel free to enjoy the veggie part of this recipe)
