TOP 5 HEALTHY BEAST POSTS OF ALL TIME

Hey everyone! I am so grateful for all your visits and support! This has been a great starting year for me and The Healthy Beast blog, but there is so much more on the way that I cannot wait to announce. But, in the meantime I am going to continue bringing you my favorite healthy (paleo, gluten-free) recipes, and fun workouts.

To get myself, and you readers, back into the swing of things, I’m starting off with a recap. Let’s look at some delicious moments to keep our New Year’s resolutions from sliding off track. Based on visitor numbers, I bring you….

Top 5 Posts of TheHealthyBeast.com
From April 2013 – January 2014

#5: CHOCOLATE ALMOND BACON BANANA BITES

frozen banana, recipe

These bit-sized delectables are perfect for those with a sweet-tooth who crave something a little out-of-the-ordinary. Do you like that salty-sweet combo you get from chocolate-covered pretzels? Yea. It’s kind of like that.

#4:  PALEO PUMPKIN SPICE APPLE SOUP

paleo pumpkin soup

The polar vortex is making sure that it stays frigid outside, but that doesn’t mean you can’t warm up with some healthy pumpkin soup! Grab a bowl and a blanket for a cozy meal.

#3: TOMATO VEGGIE EGGPLANT ROLLS

eggplant rolls, vegetarian recipe

Delicious, healthy, and filling, this is the perfect recipe for a hungry beast! These eggplant rolls are also great for impressing guests with your cooking skills… but hey, sometimes sharing is over-rated…

#2: GREEN KALE AND PINEAPPLE TROPICAL POPSICLE

kale, popsicle, vegan recipe

Say that title five times fast. After you eat one, you will be ready for the day! Or maybe you need a sweet snack after your full-day of busy activities. Store in the freezer, and grab on the go!

….And the top favorite Healthy Beast recipe of the year so far? It wasn’t even close, this recipe blew all the others out of the water. Why is that? Maybe because it’s the step-by-step photos…. haha, who am I kidding? It’s the food!

Best Recipe #1: PESTO SPAGHETTI SQUASH

paleo pasta recipe

Everyone’s been sharing it, everyone’s been loving it. I think that means you should give it a try! If you love pasta and crave those hearty italian dishes, but can’t fit such heavy carbs into your schedule… it’s time for pasta’s healthy cousin to step up to the plate! This is another great recipe for making larger portions, so prepare to eat! Well I guess you can share… or take out some tupperware.

Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this mini countdown as much as I have! Wishing all you healthy beasts a happy and healthy beginning to your new year!

    • I know! Luckily they are in the freezer… so, slightly out of sight, right? And they are cold enough so that you can’t gobble them down TOO quickly, haha.
