So… I found a new obsession and it comes in green! During the change in season, when I’m yearning for the sun and outdoor activities, I need all the energy I can get. I catch up on extra sleep, eat real food, and get plenty of movement (as much as I can during snowstorms!). I am so excited to add another way of boosting my energy to the list!
ALOHA Daily Good Greens energizes, hydrates, boosts immune system, detoxifies with tons of AMAZING ingredients including wheatgrass, berries, mushrooms, spiraling, spinach, ginger… all in a single packet.
I got my first pack in the mail and was so excited! As a graphic designer, I am drooling over the package and print design, and that’s before even trying the green juice powder! Love those little insights on the packets, today I should “surprise myself”! Preparing it? It’s easy to mix it up with some water or coconut water. Personally, I think it makes a great snack for the morning commute or before a workout since it’s packed full of nutrients.
For the last week I have been making my own “green juice lattes”, and you can make them too! Just a few things…
1 packet of ALOHA “Daily Good Greens”
8 oz. almond milk
1/2 teaspoon stevia or honey (optional)
The Daily Good tastes like earthy green tea, which I love! I like my tea sweetened, so I added a little stevia… but that isn’t necessary.
Compared to the price of many green powders out there, it’s only $2.50 a pack. Less than your typical fancy coffee drinks.
The packet is full of GOOD stuff minus the junk. Prepackaged powders out there might have added ingredients, fillers, sugars… but not Aloha. It’s only the good stuff in here!
On their blog, they mention it’s a great start to a morning after eating or drinking too indulgently. I think we all have some of those, so I am looking forward to having some on hand when I may fall off track. Speaking of which… is it the weekend yet?
