BLACKENED TILAPIA

Hello everyone! I’ve been taking a quick break from posts for a very good reason. Two weeks ago, I went on vacation to Wisconsin and had a great time – a much needed break from routine. The following week, I found I needed some time to recover and get back into the swing of things. Believe it or not, I do not make a single cent on this blog. I post because I ENJOY it. Can you believe it? haha. Well, this also means that posts are never FORCED or contrived, and they come from my soul – my passion for cooking and sharing recipes! Thanks for sticking with me and hope you enjoy the recipes as much as I do!

Today’s featured tune is: “This is the Time” by Nothing More (some powerful lyrics there)

And now, on to this recipe…

Lemon slices (optional)

SPICES:
1 T paprika

Mix all your spices together in a bowl and sprinkle on top of fish. Heat up coconut oil in a pan on medium heat. Let pan get hot, then add spiced fish to pan. Cook fish about 3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Fish should be easy to cut, flaky, and comes apart easily.

Serve with sliced lemon.

(I ate mine with lots of asparagus and some sweet potato, yum!)
